Alicia de la Torre

"There is no pure abstraction in her painting.  It is abstraction with  recognizable topics.  The artist shows us the natural life cycle of a nature painting.  She gives us a variety from different approaches in which thematic topics prevail in the paintings value as color, form and texture that qualifies their existence of uniqueness and suggestive painting.  Sometimes the results are spontaneous and reflective; the intuition of the moment."  Signed:  E.
